Cell phone cancelled

My cell phone has been on airplane mode for long time. As matter of fact, I have not turned on cell phone for about 6 months. I do not know when I will be able to be not affected by cell phone signal. Also I am not sure if I want to carry cell phone after I am recovered. I know I can save money on bills if I cancel my cell phone even though I have to pay early termination fee. I calculated that I would save $300 in next 12 months if I cancel it even after paying for early termination fee.

This move gave me very strange feeling. It gave me similar feeling when I got home phone. I have had the same phone number for over 10+ years. It felt like I finally accepted my condition and I am moving on.

I have noticed there are less pay phones now. I may look into carrying go phone or something that I can turn it on and make calls in an emergency situation. Maybe I would react less to phone without any data plan (non Smart phone).

I have decided to use only Google voice number. I use Skype at work to connect to Google voice. I also have gotten OBi200 VoIP Phone Adapter so I can use house phone with Google voice. I have unplugged time warner’s Internet phone as I was not sure if the device was emitting any EMF or RF. Also, now that I have Google voice, I do not need to use that.
